Weekend Wrap Up
hi!!
did we all survive the time change?
like seriously - it's been really good for us.
i am kinda loving it.
mornings everyone is up, evenings everyone is game for laying down.
it's been good!
we had a GREAT halloween weekend.
we wore extra clothes so we didn't have to wear coats.
and i safety pinned stocking caps to woody and jessie's hats.
worked out pretty good.
henry made it around our neighborhood and then he was done.
so him and nana hung out at home and passed out candy. which he LOVED.
and we headed to a trunk or treat in town which was kind of a dud. sorry.
but i was pretty disappointed......
once we got back home we handed out candy the rest of the night and made some hot chocolate.
perfect evening.
saturday morning we were up EARLY for stella's last soccer game.
it was at 8 a.m. and it was 30 degrees outside.
but it's over. yay! it really wasn't bad.
she had fun - but i think it's safe to say she doesn't have a life long career in soccer.
my rule for next year - if they don't ask to play - i'm not signing them up. lol.
that evening we went to church and then to henry christmas.
the kids LOVED the dairy farm and we enjoyed an evening hayride!
sunday morning the time change hit us. everyone was awake at 7 a.m.
we hung out at home in the morning, i worked out, and then we headed out to do some late afternoon shopping. it was perfect.
we tried for some naps when we got home but that wasn't happening.
we just hung out the rest of the evening.
ahhh - it was great!
excited for a chill week and then..... BIRTHDAY WEEK!
