Hey, it's Ok...

Yesterday and today have just been one of those days.  People are on my last freaking nerves!!  I need a mental health day.  Or a beer.  However neither of those do I see in my future ANY time soon.  Oh well.

...it's Ok to take a bath with your daughter but wear a sports bra.  ha, maybe I'm weird.  I know that she has what I have, but idk.  i just can't let them hang out like that.
...it's Ok to be a firm believer in retail therapy.  PTL Target is five minutes away from work.  it keeps me from wanting to go off on some people.  deep breath, just get in your car and drive to target, it will all be ok in five minutes, promise.
...it's Ok to kinda enjoy when your daughter doesn't finish all of her frosted donut in the morning.  ha, don't worry, momma will finish it for you.  :)
...it's Ok to spend your tax return on new windows (even though it's depressing).  remember when tax returns went for vacations and fun stuff.  ha, windows are fun, right?!!?  man growing up sucks.
...it's Ok to buy yourself some new clothes that you know you can't fit into right now.  again, back to the retail therapy comment.  and well, i HAD to spend $50 to get free shipping......
...it's Ok for one show that you and your spouse can agree on is Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team.  ha, I am a closet DCC lover and well, what guy doesn't love watching girls like that on tv.  it's a win win for both of us!
...it's Ok to re-gift.  yep, i just admitted it.  i'm a re-gifter.  RARELY, but i do it.  whoops.
...it's Ok to rock your baby to sleep every night.  no cry it out method in our house.  and i wouldn't change it for the world!!
...it's Ok to not paint your little boy's room.  boys can do yellow, right?  ugh, mommy just has NO ambition right now.  any takers?!  i will buy you dinner and do the edges.
...it's Ok to be selfish sometimes.  a possible big change in our house means A LOT of single mommy time.  it's going to be rough.  i am dreading it BIG time, but i can do this, for my babies, i can do this.....  this too shall pass.

What are you Ok with today?!!?  Please, tell me there are other Mommy's out there who can't bathe naked as a jay bird with their babies......

I don't to the naked bath. I think it feels pervy. Most of the time I don't get in the tub with him, but when I have I wear swim bottoms and my bra. So you're not alone! And a boys room and totally be yellow, don't stress yourself about that!

Next time you go to Target check out the Summer toys selection....just read on the stlmommy blog that most of the toys in that section are 50% off right now....stock up for next year! :)

On the Bath thing....I have not taken one with Megan yet. She still fits in her ducky bath thing (which I LOVE & so does she :) And there is no room in there for me :( lol
But I don't know what I would do- I would be the same way though...wouldn't know how or if I should dress.

Lara - yes that's exactly how i feel, pervy!! lol. werid i guess, but idk. i have done this MAYBE three times and i feel weird every time but my body just craves a hot bath right now so this is the best it's going to get. lol.

Kacie - thank you!!

I don't even have a kid and I would totally feel weird doing that. I am a very private person...my chest is not a community chest.

I had one of those days yesterday. I woke up thinking of all the shitty things going on right now and that just helped my day right along. Im glad thats over!

Im a believer in retail therapy also, but then I get home and look at everything and Im like ok I dont really need all of this and end up taking some of it back. hahah

its ok to have only 2 followers on your blog, but still think its absolutely necessary to blog everyday.

The DCC's are back on?? I've been waiting! When Evie was really little I could take a bath with her no problem. (Like eight months and under.) Now I'd be totally weirded out! But I think it's different when you nurse your baby...boobs just aren't a big deal, haha.

Well...I'm going to be the odd one, I've taken showers with keegan....up until he pointed at my boobs & said "mommy what are those?" then I stopped!

I watched DCC last night!! i use to watch it all the time! love it!

i can't take a bath lately without landon jumping in with me. I keep my swim suit bottoms right next to the tub for that reason, I have no problem with the boobs tho. Maybe because he was breastfed and I feel like he already knows what they are anyways. lol idk? no shame with the tata's tho!

It's OK to be excited and not so sure about a big change in your life.... I think I can, I think I can...

Im with ya on the bath situation - when we were on vacation in DC a few weeks ago I had to get in the tub with them - (In my swimsuit!) But it def. was a bit akward...

I'm ALWAYS OK with Retail Therapy! It is rough on me right now bc I am still a size away from my pre-preg size and I cant bring myself to by clothes in the bigger size aghhh So when I can't get clothes the twins can! Yeah for sales at gymboree ;)

You are so fricking funny Cassie! Love that you guys only can watch Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders together! J and I only can agree on food shows (Top Chef, Next Food Network Star, etc.) and John Stewart.

Adrein - I was TOTALLY wrong, old episodes, I just found out the new ones start in October. YAY!!

thanks Christine. lol.
we do watch a lot of food shows together but then usually we end up eating ice cream or eating WAY to late at night. so we try to stay away from those shows. lol.
