Ahhh, what is wrong with me?!?!

Help, I have this crazy rash coming all over my body.  It has turned my ears bright red.  I just have these little bumps every.where.  They don't itch, they are just hot.  It's not poison ivy, I've had that shit plenty of times before.  It ain't no fun at all.  One time I got it the WEEK of homecoming in high school.  Yeah I looked real cute come Saturday for the big dance.  lol.  Anyways, I noticed them starting yesterday while I was at work.  I went to scratch my back and I was like woah, my skin feels weird.  Of course we can't see our backs so I didn't think anything of it.  Next itch, on my arm, bam, more bumps.  Last night I get home, eat dinner and take a shower before church.  I get out of the shower and they are everywhere.  I didn't change anything.  Lotion, laundry detergent, nada.  I am allergic to ammoxicillin, but there is no ammoxicillin in prenatals and that's the only new thing I have started taking (because I'm cheap and used up all the free trial ones the doc gave me before I had to pay for my prescription).  Ahhhh.  So I get to work today and I have my heater on under my desk and I notice every time the heat comes on the bumps get worse.  WEIRD!  So  heat it making them worse.  Hmmm.  So I call my OB doc just have to them reassure me that there is no ammoxicillin in my prenatals and they say no.  They tell me to just take some benadryl.  I didn't even know you could take that when you were pregnant.  She says if the rash is still there by Monday call us back.  Oh sure, no biggie, I will just go five freaking days walking around looking all funky gunky.  So here goes nothing.  Promise if you see me out do not point and laugh at my crazy red ears or my rash taking over my body.  It hasn't taken over my face JUST yet.  It's on the neck working it's way up to my chin.  FML.

Maybe its stress?? I broke out in hives a couple times when I was in crazy wedding mode and was hearing complaints from everyone about MY wedding. They didnt really itch. I think it was just an annoyance and I knew they were there so I itched them. The warm shower seemed to calm them down though.

p.s. I would like to mention that you are doing AMAZING on this blogging thing lately. I think you need a little fun thing like this 30 pictures 30 days all the time to keep you motivated to blog your little heart out. :)

Ha, I think my body is immune to my stress.
Idk. I am thinking I just need a Cassie day. To reclaim my sanity. Who knows.

Thanks - I knew you would be proud!!

It really could just be stress!

But PLEASE make sure it's not Fifth disease. I HIGHLY DOUBT that's what it is (it mostly affects children), but if you're unsure I would see a doc sooner than Monday.

Ahhhhh - Adrien!! My rash doesn't look like that, it's just small and bumpy but OMG I have like 5 of those symptons. I have been complaing of headaches and a fever for the past 5 days, I have had "the runs" for the past two days. And even worse, I'm prego. You are fraeking me ot. Ahh, I'm freaking myself out.
"Parvovirus B19 infection during pregnancy may cause problems for the fetus. Some fetuses may develop severe anemia if the mother is infected while pregnant — especially if the infection occurs during the first half of the pregnancy. In some cases, this anemia is so severe that the fetus doesn't survive. Fortunately, about half of all pregnant women are immune due to a previous infection with parvovirus. Serious problems occur in less than 5% of women who become infected during pregnancy."
I'm going to see how the benadryl does with it and then go from there. Of course josh is gone ALL night today. CRAP! Ugh. Now I am googline it like a crazy woman.

Thanks for the link!!

I used to get the same thing in high school and a few years out of high school. My Oh So Fabulous friends called it "The Funk". It was always aggrevated by heat but no one could ever figure out what it was. I think I finally grew out of it.
