Weekend Wrap Up
hi guys!!
holy snow. like no joke.
or maybe - holy snow in just southern Illinois.
thursday night was CRAZY! snow and more snow.
so an at home snow day it was.
i was e-mailing with some people at work and they were like wtf - the ground is barely covered in stl.
what!! we seriously had like eight inches of snow at home.
we tried putting on our big girl pants and get out the door by nine to try to go to work.
it took us twenty minutes to get 5 miles out of town.
not happening - so we turned around and put our comfy clothes back on.
and it was one nice little day at home.
saturday morning we had an STS event.
aunt lacie was at the house to watch S&H and L&L.
and therefore we won't be seeing any children come from lacie for the next ten years. lol.
KIDDING! she did awesome!
later that night we had jon's work christmas party.
stella MAY just be in love with the new mirror more than me....
goof.
the party was so much fun! by the end of the night i was drinking wine through a straw.
if you were wondering if this is a good idea - it's not.
my head hurt in ways i have never felt it hurt before.
damn that sloshed reindeer wine....
sunday we got up and headed to breakfast at ck.
just what everyone needed.
and then literally laid around the rest of the day.
jackie and loreli came by that afternoon and hung out for a bit. and we were having a christmas concert dress dilema for stella. they saved the day and let stella borrow loreli's dress.
and stella was in HEAVEN!!
we headed to her christmas concert later that night and she did SO good!!
nothing is cuter than a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds singing christmas songs.
look at stella front and center standing like a lady. she literally stood with her hands held like that the whole time she sang. lol. love it.
and now we are back at monday. and we are supposed to get MORE snow tonight. ayi!
oh well - be safe! and have a great week.

Wow!! I was confused on your email when you said you guys have been snowed in hahah Yeah we didn't get more than 2 inches.

We got 7" at my house and I'm over it already. This morning was the 1st day I got my car out since Wednesday and we almost didn't make up my driveway. Victoria gave me a big high five when we finally made it up to the road :)
I love, love, love Stella in her red dress. I can only imagine how much fun it was watching her in her Christmas concert. I can't wait for this!
