Kid Update

since it's birthday week, let's share a little kid update.
these two:
sugar and spice and everything nice.
frogs and snails and puppy dog tails.
seriously best friends.
stella is such the little mommy to henry, and henry will just do whatever she says.
yes we still have the occasional sharing arguments, but if we didn't have those i would be worried.

let's start with sister.
still as sassy as ever.  lol.  here she is last night wearing nana's headband.
she is all about running/walking by herself now when we go on walks.  she's not in the stroller much.
santa has some new bikes on his list so soon our walks will be even more fun!
today was her second day of preschool and she walked in like a champ!  so happy.
another mom messaged me saying her son was having a hard time coming into the classroom today and stella walked out of the room and went over to him to tell him it was ok and to try to get him to come into the classroom.
and that my friends is when you know, you are doing something right as a parent.
that girl.  is SO full of love.  happy and very proud momma.

brother on the other hand....
there's a new boy at connie's and henry's NOT a fan.  he has pushed him down more than a handful of times and refuses to let him play in the toy room with the other kids.  HENRY GEORGE!
the terrible twos are officially here with this little boy.
i don't even have to ask if he's in trouble when i get there, you can tell by the look on his face.  lol.
he will say he's sorry and he does give in and let the new boy play, he just doesn't do well with change.  hmmm, i wonder where he gets it from.  and connie says he will just tilt his head to the side and give her the cutest i'm sorry face and gah, he's melted your heart all over again.  that boy.  he's got the charm.
he also had the body of a football played.  he's coming in SEVEN pounds shy of his sister.
yes - SEVEN!  he doesn't look like it but homeboy is SOLID.
i truly believe he will weigh more than Stella by time she is four.  lord say a prayer for my arms.

i still can't believe soon i will have no kids in diapers.
that i will have a 2 year old and almost 4 year old.
that my one child is in school.
that i can have full blown conversations with my children.
even though henry really only speaks in demands.  lol.
they are just becoming these little, people.
these little people that my whole entire life revolves around.
these little people that i am just SO in love with.
these little people that i sometimes lose my patience with when they want to play with quarters in the bathtub and we can't find the money and all i can think about is that one is in someone's butt.  lol.
these little people who drink a least two gallons of milk a week.  including a half gallon of pink and a half gallon of chocolate.
these two little people that bring chaos and complete happiness to my life.
one lucky mommy, i tell you what!
