The Facts of Cassie

linking up with the ever so funny Whitney today for:
i've been doing this whole blog gig thing for a few years so i'm sure you know more than enough facts about me.  saturday night i was out and one of the girls said, i'll admit it, i pee in the shower.  and i was like - me too!  she's like i know, i read your blog.  i didn't know if i should be proud, ashamed, embarrassed.  ha.  oh well - like i said, i've never had athletes foot.  so it must be working.
fair warning - these are all over the place.  so let's get to the facts:
fact:  i get bloody noses ALL the time.  weekly, i swear.  in the shower.  in the car.  shit, i just had one at work this morning.  i mean yes, i pick my nose.  we all do.  but i don't get them because of that.  nor because of anything else....  i just get them.
when i was younger my parents had to take me to the ER because i had a bloody nose for 2 HOURS!
fact:  i have a severe case of the chicken dance.  my ever so funny "friends" remind me of this anytime we are out on the town.  bitches.  i'm white - i can't dance.  sorry.
fact:  i birthed my children in 15 minutes.  wham bam.  child bearing hips right here!
i hear stories of women pushing or being in labor for two hours.  whew - no.thank.you.
fact:  i didn't have a name for a few days when i was born.  my parents were set that i was going to be a boy.  a boy named DEXTER!  PTL i was a girl.  even if i never get called Cassie.  and to make it even harder, it's JUST Cassie.  not Cassandra.  so i always get, is that Cathy with a C or a K.  no it's Cassie.  C.A.S.S.I.E.  i've come close to changing my name MANY times.  i think i'm going to stick to something easy.  like Mary.  i look like right a Mary, right?  you can't mess up Mary.
fact:  i can't handle clutter.  i get rid of stuff, sell it, throw it away ALL the time!
fact:  i have three great aunts who are nuns.  did you know back then it was considered a really great and awesome thing if you had a child who was a nun.  to let alone have THREE!  and they went in, or whatever you call it, when they were young.  like 15.  however let's see, wine daily, free meals, we sing and dance daily, i don't have to go to church until 11 on sundays.  this nun stuff kinda sounds pretty legit.....
fact:  i'm a lyric junkie.  i look up the lyrics to songs ALL the time.
maybe that will help me some day when i decide to try out for American Idol.....

Growing up I would get nosebleeds ALL THE TIME! I even had to get my nose cauterized twice to burn the "bleeders". Disgusting, right? I HATE absolutely HATE clutter, too!

YES - I am a lyric junkie too and apply every effing song to my life. I am a mess!!

If you change your name to Mary you HAVE to become a nun - it's just a nunny kind of name!! (Nunny - yep totally a real word)

I used to get nosebleeds ALL the time, and so did my grandma...maybe it's hereditary. (?) At the most random and inconvenient times, too!

Haha, I think Eric's grandma was REALLY hoping he would be a priest someday. But then he started going to the crazy Baptist church and met me, so I must have been a bit of a disappointment. :D

Mary, you and your blood nose!! I had one years ago when Andy and I were first dating. We were just watching tv and bam a blood nose out of no where. He just stared at me with a look of panic and did nothing. hahah THAT'S the man I married :)

My OCD sista... When I sold my house, I moved into this great little loft apartment. What I didn't throw away, I gave away (truck loads) and only kept what I needed. BE GONE CLUTTER! It was my space and I wanted it as clean and simple as possible. When I bought my next house, I was thinking, where did all my shit go... oops! LOL Now, my husband is always asking where things are and my response is, I threw it away or I gave it to so-n-so. Sorry... not sorry ;-) I'm trying to do better but the older I get... well, lets just say I need help! haha

Have you tried the Sound Hound app for iPhone? It will tell you the name of the song, artist and then all the lyrics!

I'm totally lyric obsessed.

I am also constantly purging my house. I feel bad in my soul when my house has too much shit in it!

I used to always get nose bleeds. They stopped for awhile but now that I'm pregnant I get them on like a daily basis again. Not. Fun.

And I wish I got rid of clutter like you do. I'm a hoarder. I can't stand rooms being cluttered but I just find little nooks and crannies to store everything in instead of throwing it out. It's bad.

Nuns! If you have three great aunts who are nuns, changing your name to Mary totally fits. LOVE that.

Sorry about the bloody noses! Glad that it's not due to any bigger problem!

Nothing wrong with dancing like a white girl. Work it, sista!

Just visiting from the link-up! LOVE your blog! It's adorable!

Seriously 15 minutes to birth a child!!! You Rock! I have never heard of anyone with such short time.

Nose bleeds are annoying!

I am horrible at song lyrics. My husband always wants to play name that tune and I am horrible.

I am a lyric junkie too!!! I also used to get nose bleeds all the time. This is horrible but I never have napkins in my car so more than once I have had to take off my sock for a bad nose bleed while driving.
