Happy New Year!

whew -i made it!  i made it until 11:30 before eating my lunch.  why is that sometimes the hardest thing ever?
you know what else i did - shaved my legs.  woah, watch out 2013 we are going places!
speaking of going places very soon my bff and i are having our first blogger meet up with nikki and her wild friends. and i'm pumped!  nothing is more exciting than driving five hours to meet a complete stranger.  ha.
so anyways - the new year is starting off great.  so yay!
ummm - perfect.  well said StoryPeople - well said.
i would recap the past few days since i have last blogged but i can't remember much.
here's enough to hold you over.
it snowed - a lot.  so of course we suited up and headed out.  no joke i was sweating before we got out the door.  getting your kids dressed to play in the snow is a work out.  but man they looked cute.  well duh, they're my kids of course they are cute.  henry wasn't much of a fan.  just wanted to hang out on the front porch.  oh yeah and he didn't want to wear gloves.  which was a battle mommy wasn't going to lose.  stella she liked it.  nothing crazy.  but she did good.  aunt lacie came over and we made a snowman.  nothing to brag about, but stella love it.  and believe it or not he's still standing.  kinda proud of our little snowman.
oh and the neighbors totally shoveled off my driveway and sidewalk.  it was SO nice!!
let's see what else.....  henry rocked his sisters new sunglasses from ali.
i made a pecan pie.  holy smokes, i baked!  like i said, watch out 2013.
henry hoarded a full thing of puffs like a mad man.  i'd try to grab them from him and he would just giggle and giggle.  he wasn't giving them up for anything.  the faster he could shove them in his mouth the more he laughed.  it was too funny!!
and sister got a black eye.  from her brother.  they were being silly at papa's house and smacked right into each other.  ayi yi yi.
our new years eve was low key.  we made homemade pizzas, watched a disney movie and didn't even come close to seeing midnight.  we woke up new years day and made pancakes and watched PBS.  it was great!  the kids went to their dad's later that night and i met a friend for some much needed margs.
i'm pretty darn excited for 2013!!  i see a lot of positive things coming our way.  yay!
happy new year!!

Did the snow you get accumulate to much? A lot fell but most of it melted when it hit the ground. We got maybe an inch and a half.

That picture of the kids in their snowsuits is too cute!!!

Shaved your legs and you baked -- good job! More than I've done in 2013 : ) I saw that margarita on IG and I was jealous. I'm becoming quite obsessed with those things.

We didn't get any snow here in GA yet...so I'm a little jealous of that too!

Cannot waittt to see pictures of ya'lls weekend but I have a feeling that jealousy feeling is gonna come back because I'll be missing out!
