I'm Back!! Vegas Recap

helloooooo blog world!!!

it's almost been a week.  but my it's been a good week.

momma needed a vacation and this vacation was good to momma.

i didn't come back a millionaire, let's just make that known right off the bat.

no one did.  dang it.  but we had some good ole fashioned family bonding.

and nothing says steibel bonding like gambling.  ha.

so let's get started.

friday we headed to the airport for our morning flight.

we have no idea why lacie's face looks like she is a china doll.

ha - and we have no idea why we are all practically dressed alike.

ok, yes we do, we are sisters, it happens A LOT.

once we got on the plane things only got better.

$5 Coors Lights - heaven.

$30 later we were in Vegas!!

we checked into our hotel, met up with everyone else and headed to continue drinking.

after everyone was refreshed and belly's were full we headed out to do touristy things.

Cesar's was like right across the street and my dad was getting the itch to gamble - so in we went.

i had no idea there was like an entire mall inside the hotel.  crazy!!
good thing we didn't stay there.

tiffanys, coach, louis vuitton, sephora, gucci - i guarantee yo someone would of game home with something.

so instead we looked around and took a shit ton of pictures

and made dad cross his legs.  lol.

all in all a super super nice hotel.

after that we headed to Pawn Stars.

ha - Dad's request.  And after all it was his birthday....

it was only a few blocks from Fremont street so we walked there.

and oh my goodness, if i ever go back to Vegas i am staying down on Fremont street!!

it was SO much fun!

the light show, bands in the streets, $4 beers, everyone was feeling pretty good the next day!

saturday morning we were supposed to be dressed and ready by 6:45 am to head to the grand canyon.

and we ended up biting the bullet that bit us and grabbed a beer at our first pit stop at 9:30 am.

it was all uncle tony's fault.  but we all agreed it tasted crazy good.

the long 4.5 hour bus ride was full of sleeping and taking pictures of people sleeping.  ha.

we will leave those pictures off the blog.

not going to lie it was a crazy long bus ride and at times you were like eff this.

but the second you got off the bus, walked up the small hill and saw this view:

it was incredibly worth it!!!!!!

it was amazing.  i'd totally recommend it to ANYONE.  hands down.

since we were all on a high from this incredible view we politely asked the best bus driver ever, Larry, if we could get some brews and drink on the way home.  we quickly became his favorite people.  good thing we were in the back of the bus.  two pit stops and two 18 packs later we were back in Vegas and ready to gamble and go out.

sunday was a do your own thing kinda day and everyone was cool with that.

we pretty much ate a huge breakfast and then sat playing keno like little old ladies the rest of the day.

little old lady's who got carded 2345820985 times.

my god i wanted to stamp on my head - i'm 25 years old ya freak!!

ok, rant over.

after dad winning ALL of our money in keno (hey at least he was covering the tips on the beers), we headed upstairs to get ready/watch the Olympic closing ceremonies.

then off to Gilley's we headed!!

this was the one spot Lacie HAD to go.  some one's obsessed with Urban Cowboy.

but she picked a good place - it was tons of fun!!

and no we did not partake in the bikini bull riding, but of course we totally criticized the fools.  lol.

monday was leaving day.  we took the monorail and toured some cool hotels.

the luxor was pretty sweet - i'd recommend that place too.

by 3:00 everyone was ready to get home.

we headed to the airport and had an interesting flight home.

pretty bumpy and a crying baby - oh well, we made it home safe.

much to my surprise S&H decided to wake up when mommy got home.

and i was STOKED!!

they looked SO big - and they were glued to me until 2:30 in the morning.

but i didn't care ONE bit i missed them like cah-razy!!

all in all a great vacation!!
