Confession Friday

Let's just start with the fact that if the newspaper didn't always come on Thursday I really would have had no idea what day it was.  How stay at home Mom's keep track is beyond me.

I confess that I successfully completed my first trip with both kids alone yesterday.  We went to Target because Henry has been constipated and needed some stuff.  It was literally an in and out in like 6 minutes trip.  I was scared shitless.  But they did GREAT!  Thank you babies!!

I confess that while at Target yesterday my BIGGEST fear was one of my kids having a blow out.  Stella has been teething and therefore pooping A LOT and Henry, well he has been constipated and I thought ok, this is just going to be my luck he is going to release everything here.  Needless to say we went there and back with no poopies.  PTL.  But honestly what would I have done?

I confess that Sweet Tea is Stella's crack.
Don't walk into our house with this cup.  She knows what is inside of it and your chances of leaving with the cup are slim and none.

I confess I have a belly sleeper.
I was iffy about this.  The first time I put him on his belly I probably checked to make sure he was breathing 30909 times during his 45 minute nap.  But the other day when he slept for three hours, ha, yeah, I'm HOOKED on this little guy being a belly sleeper.

I confess that this is the kind of chaos that I get to experience every day.  And all I can do is laugh, and apologize to my neighbors.  Ha, I'm sure the retired old lady across the street has been enjoying us being home the last few days.  lol.

I confess that this hit me like a ton of bricks the other day.
When did she get so big?!?!  Ahhhhh.  Be still my heart.

I confess that Nurse Jen, oh em gee.  I still am just sitting here thinking no way, no freaking way.  She rocks.  She has the hook up and when I say the hook up, I MEAN it.  She doesn't mess around.
God LOVE Nurse Jen.  I swear that's like $100 worth of stuff there.  That she GAVE us.  Yeah I think some skinny girl marg, winery gift card or something is headed her way.

I confess that I packed up ALL of my maternity clothes.  I gave myself a week of being home.  If I can't fit into my regular clothes by then my butt doesn't need to be going out.  Easy enough.  PTL I have about five pairs of yoga pants I have been living in.  So if you know of anyone looking for some size 8 and 10 pants and mostly size medium shirts let me know.  I have dress pants and jeans (shorts, capris and pants).  No joke, I don't want to see them for a VERY long time.

Alright, that's good enough.  Not too much craziness this week.  I am loving seeing comments from some new people.  And I appreciate all of the kind and encouraging words!!  You guys rock!  Have a great weekend!!  YAY for football season starting!

I confess that I get sweet tea just so Keegan won't drink it...if I get soda then I don't stand a chance of drinking it by myself!!

I would be more than happy to take some of those maternity clothes off of your hands for a while!!

I confess that I want to pinch Henry's cheeks. I'm one of those people.

I confess that I wasn't paying attention when I just reached for my coffee, and instead picked up (and tried to drink out of) the bowl I had my Cheerios in.

I confess that Evie thinks all fast food cups contain sweet tea and tries to steal drinks. Eric is HUGE on Evie not having soda, so this poses a problem for us all the time, haha.

I confess that I wasn't into my pre-pregnancy clothes until I was about 2 months postpartum, so the fact that you can fit into anything this soon is awesome in my book!!

I confess that my child loves loves loves Raffi! I wouldn't know what to do without him (singer from the 80's and 90's who sings children's songs)!

I confess I had to go out and buy new clothes after giving birth! Those size 2 pre preg clothes just weren't going to cut it...hello curves!

I confess that my child is going to be 9 months old on Sunday and has only had a bottle once in his life. Can we say mommas boy? Any tips on getting him to take one this momma needs a break!

I confess that Im overly excited to come over Sunday, but really do feel like we are coming at a bad time and you wont tell us either way. :(

I confess that I'm addicted to McDonald's sweet tea as well. And everything I drink it I feel guilty.

I confess that this "stay"cation has gone too fast and I don't want to go back to work on Sunday.

I confess that during this "stay"cation I have spent A LOT of time on etsy. I have a list of things that I want to order.

I wouldn't mind having a few more options for maternity clothes (if Meagan wants to share ;) )

We had major constipation issues too. A q-tip with a little vaseline on the end worked as well as anything else for us!

Ok, the backpack on Stella...way to soon! She looks like such a big girl! Even Henry looks big in his pic!
I love your willpower to get back to your prepregnancy clothes!

I confess I can't hardly wait to see your new family pictures. I know I will be bawling like crazy!
