Weekend Wrap Up

Let me update you on the weekend first (because I'm sure you all just can't wait to hear about our ever so exciting lives) and then we will get down to the REAL business.
Friday night I got home from work and was just in a bad bad mood.  Hot, pregnant, cranky, everything.  And to top off ALL of my emotions I was going through the mail and found a piece from the local county courthouse addressed to me.  What the hell is this I thought?  I opened it up to find it was papers for JURY DUTY!  Can you guess what I did, yep, I cried.  Ha, it was just the icing on the emotions cakes.  PTL I should be able to get out of it considering it's only 5 weeks after giving birth.  So fingers crossed for me.  Kacie and Brent wanted to know what we were up to for the evening and we said nothing so they said they were coming by.  We LOVE their company but we love it even more when they come barring ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.  Ha.  It was amazing!!  So we all hung out around the house and enjoyed each other's company.
Saturday was Josh's first day of working his new schedule.  So he was gone bright and early and of course we were up not to much further after that; 6:30 a.m.  Woohoo.  So we enjoyed from breakfast and a nice morning walk.  Then had plans to meet Kim and Landon to get some fall shopping done.  Stella needed fall clothes bad and Old Navy had a 30% off coupon and I had a $10 rewards card.  17 items and $90 later (after the coupons) Ms. Stella is one stylish lady.  We then treated ourselves, I mean the kids, to McDonald's.  Where I swear girls get ripped off when it comes to Happy Meal toys.  Landon got this awesome green looking dude and Stella got a shoe on a key chain.  WTF?  lol.  After we had no success walking or shopping this baby out, we headed home.  Stella and I crashed in the recliner until Josh got home then headed to church.  Lordy we need to go to church more.  My kid makes it known that she is there.  Dad said he wasn't in the mood to cook after church and I said the only thing I was going to cook was leftovers so he decided to treat us to Applebees.  Man oh man it hit.the.spot!!  We headed home and watched some Toy Story.  Stella was sleeping early so Momma enjoyed a small glass of wine and a nice long bath.  Ahhhh.....
Sunday morning we made it to about 7:30 before everyone in the house was up.  Again we enjoyed breakfast and a walk.  The house needed to be cleaned like something fierce (either that or my nesting A.D.D. was sitting in) so Josh took Stella for a little ride while I got to clean the house.  Yes, something is wrong with this picture.  It should totally be the other way around.  lol.  Kidding.  Once he got back Lacie came over and her and I headed to get a pedicure.  Anything to try and get this baby to come out!  But no success.  Once we got home we napped and then Grandpa Steibel came over to hang out for a bit.  We finished off the rest of the ice cream cake and then headed to E&Es to see baby Tenley and have a little BBQ.  Stella was a show off and loving all over her cousin.  She gave some pretty hard hugs and didn't really understand us telling her 'no be gentle'.  Really I think it was just the 'no' word in general.  Ha, she just listens to that word oh so well.....  Once we got home we bathed and watched the disasterious VMAs.  What a hot mess.
So now we are at Monday.  I didn't sleep well last night and had a handful of contractions but of course they always stop about 3:30 and I get to enjoy about two hours of sleep before I have to get up and pee and then my alarm is going off 15 minutes later.  Anyways, so I am driving to work and I get a call from my OBs office.  I was like WTF is my OB doing calling me at 7:40 on a Monday morning.  Well, come to find out my doc had a death in the family and has to leave town on Thursday.  MY induction date!  CRAP!  So of course the first thing I think is they are going to push this back even further!  Nope, she says, how about tomorrow.  TOMORROW?!!?  Yikes.  Well, ready or not I guess.  So tomorrow ladies and gentlemen, I'm having a baby!!  Which is good because I think Momma is done.......
Ayi, yi yi......
So get excited for the play by play action tomorrow.  I'm going to try my best to keep the blog updated as the day goes on.  YAY!
