Weekend Wrap-Up!

I have no idea why but I can never remember what we did on Friday.  Horrible.  I will blame it on the pregnancy mush brain.  lol.  I worked from home all day and hung out with Stella.  She was really good and actually let Mommy get a lot of work done.  AND even slept in until 8:30.  Needless to say we both stayed in our jammies until lunch when my Dad and Lacie called and wanted us to meet them.  We ran a few errands and then were back home in the cool AC.  Stella got her list out and decided on what chores we needed to do for the day....
of course everyone thinks best while sitting in the fridge, right?
of course laundry, the never ending chore.
and Stella learned the dryer is now a drum, fun times.
however i don't believe mail Abbie was on the list of chores....poor doggie.
Once Daddy got home we didn't do much and called it an early night.
Saturday Josh had to work for his Dad so he was up bright and early and gone.  Stella and I TRIED to enjoy a nice early morning walk but it was still hot as heck then.  So we contacted our bffs Kim and Landon and made plans to join them at their subdivision pool (which TOTALLY rocks, makes me wana move to that subdivision).  lol.  Stella of course HATED the water again.  Boo.  Even Landon was trying to get her to come in, he stood in the kiddie pool saying, 'Stella, Stella' it was adorable.  So needless to say I think it took us longer to change into swimmers, suits and walk to the pool then we were actually there.  Oh well.  We came back and had some snacks and hung out with them a bit more then headed home.  Stella of course fell asleep in the car and was out enough for me to take her out, lay her in bed and then catch a few zzzzz's myself.  Which I love!!  We both woke up happy and refreshed.  Josh put in a full days work and got home around 4:30.  We were debating on going to the parade in Rocher but we decided it was just too dang hot.  So we ended the night with dinner at DiCarlos.
Stella was up bright and early on Sunday morning.  I had to work at CK at 8, so I let Daddy sleep in.  I think Abbie is regretting getting up when we did.
Poor dog doesn't stand a chance.
And I just love Stella's bed head.  lol.
Woo, it was a hot one in the kitchen at CK.  Good thing I only had to help them get through breakfast.  I was outa there by 11:30, came home, cleaned up and Stella and I headed to Erica's baby shower in Evansville.  We are soooooo excited to meet her (my niece/Stella's cousin)!!  And Erica sure did get showered.  Wow-wee.  I remember our baby shower for Stella, we brought it all in and were just like woah, what do we do with all of this.  lol.  Stella of course was the center of attention and not shy ONE bit.  I'm sure the hour and a half nap she got with Daddy that morning had everything to do with it.  About three hours later we packed up and headed home.  Stella of course passed out before we even got out of town....
Aunt Lacie came over later and we hung out and watched One Born Every Minute.  Pretty much cry during every episode.  And it's funny how it's a show that everyone will sit and watch.  PTL it's not the hunting channel, because that's usually what is on on Sundays ALL.DAY.  So that's it.
A pretty chill weekend.  I think this picture pretty much sums it up.....
Have a good week!!

How in the hell could you stand watching One Born Every Minute while pregnant? I watched that show and after I saw them climb on top of one of the women and physically PUSH her baby out, I walked with my knees together for like a month.
