Crazy Little Thing Called Love

So it's not going to be easy. It's going to be really hard.
And we're going to have to work at this every day.
But I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, every day.

Marriage is hard.
Super hard.  And sometimes you just have to fight, yell, get it all out.  And then get away for a little bit and then everything is better.  Is it the right thing to do?  Hell, I don't know, but it helps.  Not every day is oreos and rainbows.  And anyone who says they never fight in their marriage is lying Right.to.your.face.  Seriously, why does marriage (and babies) NOT come with a handbook?  Like what do I do when my husband is on my LAST freaking nerve and I just want to tell him to take a hike.  Or what do I do when my husband hasn't done a freaking romantic thing for me since Valentine's day, and all he did was buy my dinner.  It's hard folks!!
HARD.
But worth it.
You make that promise, in front of all your family and friends, and you have to think back to those good times.  And realize EVERYTHING has it bad times.  But it wouldn't be life if it was just "easy" all the time.  Right?  And DO NOT for once think you are the only one fighting because your husband just doesn't seem to 'get it'.  We have ALL been there.  Whether we want to admit it or not.
So this is just a little post to let you know, it's ok to be mad, get your feelings hurt, cry, yell, be angry, get away for a little bit.  If we didn't have these things, it wouldn't be real.  It wouldn't be life.
But it's love
A crazy little thing called love......
(or is it pregnancy hormones?!?!)

Hahahaha...I love that whole thing about love and making a marriage work...and then you toss the hormones out there. Made me spit yogurt out my nose.

It's true. The only difference between couples is WHAT you fight about, haha. And pregnancy hormones definitely don't help!

Well said! Everyone has their ups and downs! Your marriage is NOT healthy if you do not fight! And it is so true that if someone says they never fight, that is a lie!! Everyone fights!
Maybe Uncle Buck and Aunt Kacie need to babysit Friday or Saturday night so you two can go have a romantic date!:)

Sounds like we are all in a similar situation...must be the weather and time change(that one is for you heather). A wonderful friend of mine told me last week that if we didn't have fights and work on things our marriage would have ended a long time ago. It's sooooo true; its natural to have those fights, emotions, and just plan "get the F*** away from me" moments. Cassie, you are so right about the handbook...my husband could really use the Romance for Dummies book. LOL!
