Wordless Wednesday

Ok, this post may not officially be "wordless" it does need a little explaining.
What you are looking at is my purple robe, our grey comforter for our bed, Stella's white blankie and a quilt on our bed.  Last night I was all excited to get wild and crazy and celebrate Stella's 9 month birthday.  Stella on the other hand, not so much.  I went and got my hair and brows done and was back home around 6:30.  Stella was sleeping in the chair with Daddy.  So he laid her in our bed while we ate dinner.  She was still sleeping when we got done so I did a few things around the house.  It was about 9:00 (yes, I go to bed at 9:00) and she was still sound asleep.  So I picked her up and put her in her crib.  Around 11:00 she woke up.  I got her up, changed her diaper and made her a bottle.  She wanted nothing to do with the bottle.  She was so fussy and nothing was making her comfortable.  So I brought her to our bed so she could sprawl out and I could try to get her to go to sleep.  That lasted for about 2 minutes.  She was crying and so I picked her up, and then it happened......
Barf.
Not once, or twice, yes, three times.
Barf everywhere
All over me, the bed, and her blankie.  Josh woke up and just ripped everything off of the bed.  Stella on the other hand, felt great.  She laid her head back down on me and was out in just a few seconds.  Josh went and got a quilt from the other room, I laid her back down and she slept until 6:00 this morning!!  When she woke up this morning she was back to being happy Stella and was ready to eat.  Not really how I planned to celebrate her 9 month birthday but glad she is feeling better.  The sheets on the other hand, still sitting on the floor in our bedroom.  Whoops.....

OMG, I can totally relate! I was driving on 55 towards downtown on Friday to my work Halloween party and right before my exit Brody started barfing....(like his WHOLE lunch) THEN he started choking on it....so I pull off and clean him up between my gags (just wait until Stella throws up milk)......I hate to scrub that car seat all weekend!! not fun!

Ugh - nasty. I gag over so much! I can change her diaper with no problem, but if poop is on her like pants or shirt, I am just gaging like crazy.
Ugh, and the smell of puke, horrid.
Poor Brody!!
