Let's Catch Up....
after about 47 people asking me yesterday if i blogged today and i had to admit, no, here's a much overdue blog post. because let's face it, i haven't been the best blogger lately.
so sorry.
so - on to the weekend.
S&H headed out of town with their dad this weekend and i felt like i got to be a 20-something.
it was insane. but it was fun.
AND this was my first full weekend with jon in like a REALLY long time.
he has always worked the weekend shifts. which has been ok, but therefore going out during the day on the weekend just doesn't happen.
now he's on thirds - which isn't fun - but at least we have weekends to spend together.
you win some, you lose some.
anyways..... where were we, oh yes, the weekend....
friday night when i got home my college bff and her hubby and jon were at the house.
ready to hit the town.
kidding - we just had dinner planned with our favorite new little prego mom - katie!!
we enjoyed hibachi and cold stone and good people - my kinda night.
saturday we enjoyed breakfast and literally just laid around - it was amazing.
mid afternoon we met up with some friends and headed out to some wineries
we had a freaking blast and we were literally out all day.
we totally needed this :)
AND - even better - we ran into these SUPER AMAZING ladies who i felt like i haven't seen in forever. i think we could have talked all night. LOVED it. it was so much fun!
sunday - oh sunday - it hurt. bad.
i am too old for this.
i attempted lucy and abbie's first walk - oh that was silly. homegirl needs some more lease training.
and ran to target. that was it. ha - whoops.
picked up S&H later that day and we called it a night early.
and then yesterday my washing machine got all out of whack - boo.
PTL for henry and jon to the rescue. lol.
real men use purple tools. lol.
so - here we are at tuesday.
i am picking up my bff's kids L&L tonight and they are staying with us for TWO DAYS.
the kids are excited - and i seriously am too.
with that being sad - do not count on a blog post tomorrow.
four kids.
two dogs.
a full time job.
and STS.
bahahah - say a prayer for me.

Sounds/looks like an amazing weekend. I'm too old for drinking all day anymore. It takes me two days to recover. haha. Good luck over the next couple of days! Hope you post fun pics on IG!
I know exactly how it is with blogging…since Christmas I've had such a hard time keeping up. More like an "every other day" posting schedule, haha.
Not gonna lie, I'm jealous of your kid-free weekend! :D

My stomach was HUGE by the time I left you all Friday night, but it was all so good and so worth it!
