Confession Friday!

lawd i'm happy to see you friday. we have had ONE busy week. monday was really our only chill night at home. and i still feel like that was crazy. SO, on to the confessions....
i confess - the dentist on tuesday didn't happen. homegirl was doing good watching mommy get her teeth cleaned until they whipped out the electric toothbrush cleaning thing. the lady tried to tell her she was just tickling my teeth. homegirl looked at her like, yeah right. you aren't even getting close to my teeth with that thing. ayi yi yi. so therefore we have rescheduled - any advice to get my kid to go?? she wouldn't even "take a ride" in the chair. sister wouldn't even SIT in it :(
i confess stella and landon swear up and down that their friend faye is a boy. ha. faye is completely a girl, she is just a girl with no/little hair. so now that's how stella refers to her. oh, faye's a girl, with boy hair. ha - sure, close enough. i know faye, i'm confused too.....
speaking of stella, sister has been on a roll this week. one night she was moving everything around saying, we gotta sell this stuff! and last night she had a bunch of bags packed with toys and told papa she was going to the funeral home. what?!! never a dull moment.....
henry confesses it's completely ok to indulge in an ice cream cone that's the same size as your head.
i confess i have one front tooth that is whiter than the other and i'm freaking over it.
i have started using peroxide as mouth wash in the morning. because duh, pinterest said to do it. anyone else do this? the dentist tried to sell me those white strips for $72. what!! i'll stick to my $2 bottle of peroxide and hope for the best.....
i confess i'm a little nervous for henry to ever start baby sitting.
"oh we will just take the baby into the closet, bring in some cookies and we will be fine....."
see - it's completely fine mom.
PS - we FINALLY have a baby with a normal name. welcome, logan!!
but don't worry we still have david, aaron, alan, sylvia and loosen. we need name tags.
alright - that's enough of our craziness. it's supposed to be 72 here today! what what!!
i can see some patio drinks in my future tonight.

Using peroxide as mouth wash grosses me OUT! It just feels so thick. I'm gagging thinking about it.

Thank you, Jesus for warmer weather! It's supposed to be 78 here tomorrow in GA and I'm already preparing...getting a pedi today so I can wear sandals tomorrow!

I swear by crest white strips!!! I bought them from wal-mart. i think i spend $30 on like 10 or 15 strips and noticed a difference in my teeth after 2!! love them!
Brody sat on my lap the first time we took him to the dentist - I was shocked he let them brush his teeth AND put the spit sucker in there. This time he sat by himself, but when they asked if he wanted to meet the dentist he said "no, I'm done" and hopped out of the chair! LOL
I second crest white strips - work like a charm! And I'm thinking I need a trip to DQ now...would be the perfect day for it!
Oh, and Stella might be more comfortable at a pediatric dentist if the regular one freaks her out. (Don't blame her!) Our girls are going to their new dentist in a couple of weeks. I'm sure they have more tricks for nervous kids!
I am teeth whitening addict!! I splurged years ago and had the dentist make trays so I buy the bleach from them. I have super sensitive teeth and the white strips burned my teeth!

OOKAY so i need to whiten my teeth, do just swish it around?? the perxoide i mean? because i feel like i thought peroxide was lethal if ingested? (i know you spit it out..but still?)

JJ and I go to the same dentist. (Which I'm happy about because of the convenience of just scheduling our appointments together!) They recommended getting him an electric toothbrush so he'd be used to the noise and feeling of the vibrations against his teeth. Maybe that would be a good way to introduce Stella to the idea?
I had to go to a pediatric dentist when I was little....the dentist still freaks me out! Maybe my aunt Kelly could take her to her office just to let her "explore" and get comfortable!!
