Weekend Wrap Up
Promise, I'm here. Just busy busy busy. So a day late, but it's better than nothing right. Our weekend was nice. And I can't really remember much of it. Hmmm, oh well. Friday night we did NOTHING. It was great. We cleaned house a little bit but that was it. All snoozing at a nice early time. Happy Momma. Stella did sport wearing the dog chain and her brother's binky most of the night. Her new favorite accessories.......
Yep, that's a newborn BLUE binky. Like the kind you get from the hospital. Someone spotted it and threw a fit until I gave her the package and then she found a way to get that package open. Of course. And the dog chain as a necklace. lol. Crazy kid. But it makes her happy and she isn't hurting anything with it. lol. She needs a sibling soon, the day she starts barking and thinking she is a dog, we have problems. lol. JUST KIDDING!!
Saturday morning Josh had to work so Stella and I were up running errands. We wanted to do a little fun run in town but with the rain and a baby, they just don't go hand in hand. So we headed out. Of course, now a days we take a baby with us. Because heaven forbid. But it's so cute!! She LOVES her babies.
We had a wedding to attention that afternoon/evening so Stella got to hang out with Nana and Aunt Lacie. While she enjoyed a nice long nap with Aunt Lacie......
Not really too bad of a beer. However my husband about had a high speed come apart when he found out the beer was $4.50. YIKES! Oh well, I was worth it. Right? Who knows... The wedding was beautiful and I got to hang out with my college roomie Kristen who is also pregnant. It's so much more fun to know you aren't the only pregnant person somewhere. Ha, and of course her and I enjoy picking on the drunk people when we are completely sober.
Sunday morning we got up and had breakfast with Aunt Lacie and not Uncle Phil (lol). Then we went home and crashed for a nice long hour morning nap. AMEN!! Josh had errands to run so Stella and I headed to Waterloo to do some shopping with The Lukes. It was our first time taking both kids in the same vehicle shopping. And it was a major success! Can't wait to do it again. Once we got back Grandpa Steibel called and wanted to go to dinner so we headed to Marys for some amazing trash wings. Then headed back home and called it an early night again! Hope you all had a great weekend!!
