Happy Mother's Day - wait, what?

Well, I'm sure you all know now that I will be a single white female on Mother's Day.  Yes, I have a love hate relationship with this thought.  Awesome to just enjoy some Mommy Stella time, but at the same time, I do love all that family time too.  So since my husband has been walking on pins and needles since he discovered AFTER he made his deposit that the fishing trip is the same weekend, he asked a few weeks ago what I wanted.  I really need a new pair of tennis shoes.  I am the type of girl who wears her tennis shoes until they break.  Like I just broke a shox on my old shoes.  And they now squeak.  And when you walk over three miles around town a couple times a week, the squeaking gets annoying.  I basically wear them til the die.  Anyways, so now I am the proud new owner of these babies....
Caaauuute!  Yes Kacie and Lacie, I wana be like you.  They are the purple-ish version of your pink ones.  However, I did not pick them out.  NOR did my husband.  He sent my sister to do it.  Wow, what a romantic guy.  Taking time out of his day to place a phone call and make someone else do his dirty work.  Anyways, so I had a feeling something was up.  And well, when I could see the Nike box in the back of his car while openly sitting in the driveway, yeah I knew what was in there.  So let me break it down for you how ridiciously awesome my husband is.  Yes, girls, you are all going to be super jealous.  Baha.  So Sunday night (yes two weeks before the big day) after we got home from all the Easter festivities he walks in with this bag.  I said, what is that.  He said, the shoes you wanted for Mother's Day.  I thought, oh how sweet, you wrapped them in the cutest thing ever, a Famous Footwear bag.  How sweet!!  Oh and the card you ask, yeah it read something like 'you want them now or when I get home on Sunday night of Mother's Day.'  Martial bliss I tell ya, martial bliss.  No joke, that's word for word what he said.  Don't get me wrong I am over the moon excited about these shoes, but geesh, can't a girl get a little hey, I care a little bit, now and then?

Right! lol. I heard today about a girl who got a Jeep from her boyfriend for her like birthday/christmas/graduation gift. I was like honey, don't marry him, that shit stops when you get married. lol.

Its ok Cass its not just your husband that is lacking in the romance department. Andy is not Mr. Romantic either and were not even married yet!!! Am I screwed????
Either way your new tennis shoes are very cute! Sounds like you wear all your shoes until they are dead. Hey atleast you get your money's worth out of them.
