A Few Good Things
Stella has found her ear. But just her right one. She will sit and play with it for so long. She just flips it back and forth. I guess it's pretty cool to her. While she is doing it, it looks like she is twirling her hair, hair that she obviously doesn't have. lol. It's so cute! She hasn't figured out that she has one of the other side of her head yet though.
And we can now stick our foot in our mouth. Yet, Stella makes diaper changes pretty easy now a days. We don't have to hold her feet up, she will grab her toes and pull them straight to her mouth. Getting dressed, now that's a little different because she gets mad when I have to pull them away, but they go right back, then the coast is clear.
She also has decided to not stick with a bedtime anymore. It used to be, no later than 8:00 or so she was sleeping. Now a days we fight and fight sleep until we finally just fall asleep. One night we had 9:00, one night 10:30, some nights, 7:30. Oh well. She is still sleeping all through the night, usually up around 5:30, so that's all that matters to us!
Still no teeth yet, but TONS of drool. I'm sure they are coming soon!
Her and Abbie have become quite the buddies. She reaches out her hand for Abbie all of the time. You know she just wants to feel her, but Abbie thinks she wants her to lick her, so Abbie just licks away!
And yes, even when we are sitting in our bumbo eating on the floor, Abbie will lick the food off of Stella's face. Sometimes Mommy's hands JUST aren't quick enough. lol. Stella just laughs and laughs. I guess it's tickles her.
And last night we had our first big girl bath. We have always used a little baby bather thing, but I felt like she was cramped in there so we decided to just see how she would do in the tub. She LOVED IT!
She is just growing up too fast!!!
