Weekend Wrap Up
i feel like this weekend was long.
i mean it was just a normal weekend.
but it was slow, well, for us.
and relaxing.
which we all needed.
friday night henry had a small mini camp with the high school football team.
it was so cute seeing the little guys out there with the big guys.
we were home and chilling after camp for the rest of the evening.
saturday henry and jon were back at the field for football practice.
man oh man it got hot quick.
stella and i ran some errands and we were all in the pool by the afternoon.
it felt great!
we went out to dinner that night and chilled again that evening.
sunday stella and i had planned to do a 5k but she was starting to get a sore throat so we got some extra rest.
which no one was complaining about.
boys headed out for football pictures and the girls got set up for henry's birthday party.
by 3:00 we had all of our family and henry's friends over.
i had NO IDEA six boys could be so loud.
i thought girls were loud. lol.
they had SO much fun.
thanks again to everyone who helped him celebrate.
he has a few more days until his real birthday but he is loving the early celebrations.
today i am working from home due to the solar eclipse.
it's insane the traffic that is coming through our town to get to a town about 25 minutes away.
it's been none stop.
our house has like a little "cut through" that people are quickly finding out about and traffic is starting to pick up.
pretty wild.
i am going to volunteer at my kid's school to help when the kids go outside.
pretty excited to be able to be there with them during the historical event.
